Dr. Rudaba Khondker is working as the Country Director, Bangladesh, at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and GAIN’s focal point for Network in Nutrition in South Asia (NINSA). Dr. Khondker is a medical doctor with expertise in paediatric medicine and sociology, with a special emphasis on policy influencing, nutrition, and life cycle approaches in food systems. She has more than twenty years of experience working in leadership and advisory roles in humanitarian, post-conflict, and development contexts in Africa, Asia, and the Pacific, working with Save the Children, Concern Worldwide, UNICEF, BRAC, and other international organisations and agencies. She has worked with high-level policymakers in different governments in Asia and Africa. In her leadership role, she worked with diverse partners, global networks, and the private sector.
