This Forum Report was generated from the 5th GAIN Business Alliance Forum held in Vienna in 2011. The Forum brought together a wide range of expertise and knowledge on nutrition and businesses, to learn and engage on innovative solutions and private sector approaches for delivering more affordable nutritious products in developing countries. The Forum- which focused on the theme of Driving Business and IMPACT- attracted over 80 participants representing business, government, donors, international organizations and GAIN partners.
Four key themes emerged from ‘Driving Business and Impact’: IMPACT through business models, IMPACT through Driving Innovation, IMPACT through markets and IMPACT through measuring performance. GAIN’s Business Alliance is a leading global network which consists of 23 members that build partnerships and explore new business models, best practices and sustainable approaches in the fight against malnutrition.
