This report discusses the challenges and opportunities in linking agriculture and nutrition in the face of negative impact of climate change on global hunger.
Nutritionists rarely have any idea how agriculture affects the nutritional quality of foods. By the same token, agriculturalists mostly do not have a clue about the nutritional profile of their produce. As part of a concerted effort to overcome this silo between the two camps, this report presents initiatives across the world that showcases successful examples of bringing agriculture and nutrition together.
In highlighting the evidence gaps, the authors call for a clear plan of action by consolidating efforts, setting common goals, pooling resources and sharing experiences to make the agriculture and nutrition sectors work better together.
