Mark is a policy and advocacy specialist. He joined the Policy and Advocacy team at GAIN in March 2023. His role focuses on strengthening GAIN’s policy and advocacy work and its ability to engage with and influence global and national policy processes around food and nutrition security. In his previous roles, Mark conceptualised strategic policy advocacy campaigns and implemented multi-year initiatives to strengthen health programs in Southern and Eastern Africa. Currently, Mark is working on his PhD in public policy and management He holds a master's degree in business administration with a specialisation in strategic management. Additionally, he is certified in project management life cycle by Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT).
