Senior Manager Food Systems Transformation Accelerator - GAIN Representative in Brussels

Fadoi Chaouki is the Senior Manager, Food Systems Transformation Accelerator – GAIN Representative in Brussels. She leads GAIN’s engagement to accelerate country-level action by offering practical partnership to translate national pathways into investible, impactful, financed actions that leverage the private sector. Fadoi is an experienced agri-food engineer with nearly 20 years of expertise in international development and cooperation.

Prior to joining GAIN, she worked at the European Commission, where she managed a portfolio focused on supporting local value chains of nutritious foods and advancing food fortification programmes, including complementary foods for infants and young children. She began her career in the private sector as a Quality Engineer at Nutriset, where she provided technical support to local producers of Plumpy’Nut (RUTF), primarily in Africa. She later joined Groupe URD, a French NGO, where she advised on project quality management and led training programmes for aid workers, mostly in Afghanistan and Palestine. Fadoi then spent five years at the UN World Food Programme’s Regional Bureau for West Africa as a Food Technologist and Project Manager. There, she supported local producers of nutritious foods – such as SMEs and smallholder farmers – and assisted WFP Country Offices with food safety and quality assurance.
